We are looking for someone to head our engineering team in RnD center, Taipei, Taiwan.

In this role, you will be responsible for the entire delivery of services, programs, projects, COE initiatives. This needs a highly collaborative leader who works in fast-paced environment, The role will manage a team of 150+ business analysts, project managers, software developers, quality engineers and other roles in Taipei, Taiwan. This position is ultimately responsible for the quality, on time and budget delivery of projects to exceed customer expectations, achieve operational profitability, and the highest revenue yield per employee.

The role reports into the Business Unit Head in USA.


  1. Provide leadership to delivery leads, project managers, business analysts and software teams based in Taipei and USA.
  2. Drive software development activities to meet aggressive schedules and timelines while maintaining the highest bar of quality and a focus on exceeding customer expectationsíP
  3. Facilitate communication upward and across project teams including project status, justifications for variances and technical information (design and implementation objectives).íP
  4. Ensure all processes and procedures, both internal to the team and interaction with other teams, are followed and work to improve whenever appropriate and necessary.íP
  5. Identify training needs of the team. Plan and execute a structured approach to enhancing the skill level and productivity levels of the team.
  6. Monitor projects, revenue yield per employee and customer engagement to drive on-time delivery, project profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  7. Mentor the teams íV both from delivery and process maturity perspective íV institutionalize the agile process across the center along with metrics based operating model
  8. Operate in a Program Model íV responsible for program governance, Service level Metrics at the overall group level
  9. Oversee and support local center operations íV HR, Recruitment, IT compliance
  1. 12-15 years of enterprise software development and delivery experience including 5+ years in managing global delivery for a systems integrator.
  2. Experience with delivering solutions / enterprise software products.
  3. Offshore Delivery Management experience is a must (should have handled a large enterprise accounts)
  4. Experience in managing agile development projects is a must.
  5. Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
  6. Proven experience building, recruiting and leading first-class Development teams
  7. Masters / Graduate in Computer Science or related field
  8. Healthcare domain experience is a plus.
  9. 3-4 years of Experience of having worked in North America in a delivery role having worked in a customer facing capacity with account management and/or program management responsibilities is a plus
  10. Travel - as needed to other locations (international)
