Sponsorship Update (mid-year report)

On behalf of NATEA, a North America high-tech non-profit organization, we would like to give our past and current sponsors an update on how we are doing as an organization in spite of these extraordinary modern challenges with the global pandemic and equality that we face in America.

First, we have updated our organization’s website with a clean and new look (www.natea.org) along with a specific page dedicated to our sponsors, partners and friends of NATEA.  You can view check it out here: https://natea.org/sponsors-and-partners/).

Second, we have grown our community with over 2,600 members along with 13 regional chapters.  We continue to see strong momentum both in our Silicon Valley community as well as other regional chapter cities in North America.

The growth in our membership is fueled by an aggressive outreach campaign with next generation young talents who are pursing science and engineering careers as well as strong community building and bondages with other like-minded non-profit organizations.

To share more statistics, we have hosted 11 events in the last 12 months (from June 2019 to May 2020) and continue to strive in having even more events in the future.  Check out our past events for more details:  https://natea.org/past-events/

Further, last year’s U.S. Taiwan High-Tech Forum was the highest number of attendees ever with over 300 attendees (reaching facility capacity limit) and have receive press releases from international media firms (see here).

This year’s U.S. Taiwan High-Tech Forum theme will be “Impacts on Trade and Pandemic in High-Tech Industry and Future Landscape”. It is our plan to have another record-breaking number of attendees in our event this year as we have a stellar line-up of industry executive speakers and thought-out leaders.

In addition, for the first time, we are launching our first event geared for the start-up community called U.S. Taiwan Start-up Forum with more than a dozen start-ups attending and engagements with entrepreneurs, industry professionals and venture capitalists communities with start-ups pitch and panel discussions to advance new innovations in Semiconductor, 5G wireless, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things and the intersection of these technologies with the future of work, supply chain management and digital health.

More details regarding this year’s U.S. Taiwan High-Tech Forum (to be hosted in Nov. 2020) and U.S. Taiwan Start-up Forum (to be hosted in Sept. 2020) will be released in the next few weeks.

As a science and technology non-profit, it is our mission to promote these high-tech innovations and advancement in the U.S., Taiwan and globally. To support this effort, we have also assembled an world-class industry advisors (see here) to support our communities in the advancement of these initiatives.

In addition, we plan to advance our mission with focus in these sectors

  1. Community Playground that is accessible to all
  2. Cross-Border Connection of technology exchange between U.S. and Taiwan
